Boilies story

Fishing with boilies is a modern and effective way of carp fishing such as grass carp, tench and of course common carp. Carp is the most widespread fish in our lakes, but also in rivers. From this statement, a group of fishermen crystallized the so-called carp fishing tackle and baits, with special technology in the fishing industry, which is now called modern angling.

Angling is a wonderful hobby, but also hard work and constant self-improvement. It takes patience and experience to succeed.

To catch bigger fish, you need to spend more time on the bank. Finding the right place and exploring the bottom. This can be done with lead, or better sonar. For large fish that spend most of their time at the bottom, it is better to prefer the technique with special rigs and leads. Due to a good jam, it is better to use lead heavier than 100g. If you want to catch really big fish, then of course the need arises to find a bait that can withstand attacks by white fish and smaller carp. It just keeps waiting for the right one and to be attractive enough.

MASTODONT BAITS BOILIES - We do it differently!

Our vision is to provide an unrivaled and different range of fishing baits and lures that will guarantee the success and unique experience of every fisherman, without unnecessarily damaging nature. Mastodont Baits boilies are Czech-made boilies made by Czech fishermen. Boilies are made from quality ingredients and tested by Mastodont Baits testers and friendly fishermen before being released for sale. Each row of boilies is built from a unique mixture, which we make from the ground up ourselves.

Our boilies are characterized by a high proportion of proteins, amino acids, carbohydrates, enzymes and more, which is clear at first glance on the boilies. Another thing that you will notice at first glance is the unique coarse or hairy structure of boilies, which guarantees maximum release of attractors into the water and irregular shapes. The shapes of the boilies are determined by the stiffness of the dough roughness. Our boilies cannot be produced on classic large-scale production lines, so with us you can be sure that each product passes through our hand and is in a way original, because is naturally absolutely perfectly rounded.

Mastodont boilies do not contain non-thermally processed bulk raw materials, food gum and other non-standard binders. Because these ingredients leave a taste, they make the boilies indigestible to fish, which in many cases is very dangerous for carp, grass carp and tench.

BOILIES production

A bait that works in one lake, river, and so on, may not work on another one, what works in spring may not work in summer and vice versa. Making boilies is far from a simple matter. Knowledge of biology, chemistry and physics is therefore necessary to develop an attractive and effective bait. For effective fishing, it is extremely important that the boilies are adapted to the digestion of the fish at a given time of year, so that the bait releases attractants even in cold water, or, conversely, is not overly attractive in summer and does not sniff out quickly. Other important factors pitfalls are energy value and protein content. A significant part of successful fishing is finding raw materials that do not absorb the odors of the bottom and thus weakened the effectiveness of the bait. Mastodont baits and lures are developed on the basis of years of experience fresh waters carp fishing, large and small lakes, rivers and fishing in all seasons. Therefore, these baits are successful developed for catching "big fish".

Consumption time and service of boilies

Do you tidy up your fishing tackle after the winter, have you found old boilies and don't know if they are still usable?

The shelf life of boilies is usually indicated by the production date and expiration date on the packaging. In most cases, the consumption time of finished boilies is about two years from the time of production. If you store the boilies properly - in a cool place and out of direct sunlight, it will retain its nutritional value and appeal. If you dry the boilies on the stone, they will last you even longer. Dried boilies are selective and resistant to attacks by white fish and small carp do not like it so much. If the boilies are well built like ours, they are as attractive to dried as they are fresh. Boilies with milk proteins even more. If you need a real bomb in cold water or dead periods, I recommend you steam the boilies and pour a booster or dip in the same flavor right after the heat. Boilies treated in this way do not absorb the smells of the bottom, it is maximally attractive and at the same time it can wait for the right mastodont.
